Common terminology I use
U – Unit. This is what determines how much you place on a bet. Everybody’s “U” is different, due to different financial situations, but I recommend making 1u 10% of your betting bankroll. The importance of units cannot be understated, you must follow the staking plan I recommend and not “lump” larger amounts of money than usual on a bet unless advised. This ensures that during periods in which variance is affecting us and we are in a downswing, losses are minimised. It also allows optimal staking dependant on the expected value I believe a tip has, creating more profit on tips that have a higher expected value. Units will be given in 0.25u increments from 1u to 3u.
MG – Match goals
GL – Goal line
TG – Total goals
AH – Asian handicap
P/L – Profit/Loss
EV – Expected value
CL – Closing line (Market average)
CLV – Closing line value
ROI – Return on investment
My tipping format explained
My tips for a single match follow the same format. On the first line of the tip will be the teams playing, alongside the date of the match if it is a pre-match bet. The next line will be the country and league of the match, with the country’s flag alongside that. The third line will be the bet being tipped, with the current odds. The fourth line will be the advised stake, as well as the advised bookie to take the bet with. The final line will have the minimum advised odds to take on this bet. This is very important if you miss the initial odds, NEVER take below the minimum odds as these odds are the lowest expected value that i would take to provide long-term profit. This line is provided on premium tips only. An example tip is below:
Manchester United v Manchester City (01/01/25)
🏴 England Premier League
Over 2.5 match goals @ 2.00
Stake 1u (Bet365)
Minimum odds: 1.95
